Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of this website, which is operated by Thiqa. By using it you agree to them. They do not cover the Thiqa product itself; access to the product, when it is available, will be governed by a separate agreement.

The website

This website describes Thiqa, a compliance platform that is not yet generally available, and lets you join a waitlist for early access. Joining the waitlist does not create a contract and does not guarantee access.

Not legal or compliance advice

Nothing on this website is legal, regulatory, audit or compliance advice. Descriptions of laws, regulators, standards and frameworks are general information and may be incomplete or out of date. Take advice from a qualified professional about your own obligations.

Regulators, standards bodies and frameworks are named to identify the requirements Thiqa maps. No affiliation, approval or endorsement is implied.

No warranty

The website and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it is accurate, complete or current, that it will be available without interruption, or that it is free of errors or harmful components. Product descriptions reflect our plans and may change before or after launch.

Intellectual property

The content, design, text, graphics and the Thiqa name and marks on this website belong to Thiqa or its licensors. You may view and share pages for your own information. You may not copy, adapt or republish the content for commercial purposes without our written permission. Other names and marks belong to their owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the website in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it, or interfere with how it works;
  • submit someone else’s details, or false details, to the waitlist;
  • use automated means to overload the website or to scrape it in a way that harms its operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Thiqa is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of this website or your reliance on anything on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Where this website links to sites we do not operate, such as a regulator’s, we are not responsible for their content or availability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute about them, unless the law where you live gives you a right to bring proceedings there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and the version published here is the one that applies.
